Intra Arts run projects that benefit local communities – by increasing their contact with art and creative activities. We have seen how this helps people to feel better about themselves and the areas they live in. We fundraise so that all our communities have the chance to take part in the high quality, affordable or free creative ideas we think up, and we team up with partner organisations in order to deliver larger projects.

Textiles & Song
The Cut Of Her Cloth
Creative textiles and songwriting workshops, celebrating 10 female leaders of Medway. We are connecting communities all over Medway for this project, and plan to make banners and ceremonial robes for a procession in 2024, as well as exhibitions and more.
Young People’s Wellbeing
Wave Arts Club
Supporting young people at risk of self harm or suicide with a chance to socialise in safety and ‘come up for air’ at a twice monthly arts club.

Medway Light Nights
Lantern making workshops with schools and families taking part in the lantern parade that launches the Medway Light Nights festival in Chatham, Feb 2023.
