We’re excited by the new workshops coming up at INTRA, led by north Kent based designer-maker Rosanna Clare Gethin who makes beautiful accessories and jewellery from wood and leather.
Rosanna’s designs use geometric shapes and patterns and she loves to repurpose items that would otherwise be thrown away, often using offcuts and recycled materials.
Kicking off with two evening classes 6pm – 10pm at INTRA, leather accessories runs on Tuesday 24th May (£40), and making a purse or wallet on Tuesday 28th June (£55).
In May’s crafty evening you can make up to three accessories including a case for card, phone or glasses, a tassel key ring and item of jewellery (bracelet or earrings). The June session will see us making a leather purse or wallet using traditional leather craft skills and finished off by punching a monogram of your initials into the leather.
Tuition, materials and components are all included and the class is suitable for beginners. Maximum of 6 people per class.
