Our exhibition during the Electric Medway festival (19-28 August) showcases a collection of new digital illustrations in the style of steampunk, cyberpunk and neon-wave, created by an artificial intelligence bot. A glimpse of how a machine views the world.

Each of the 19 works is an AI response to a set of words or descriptions inputted by people in Medway. The bot gets work after giving it the command:

The AI is developed by Midjourney, an independent research lab exploring new mediums of thought and expanding the imaginative powers of the human species. You can have a go with the bot yourself online at Discord, or find it in person at Electric Medway’s Digital Gazebo event on 27 August 2022.

Electric Medway’s theme this year is ‘Augmented River’ and they’ll be presenting 10 days of immersive events that can alter your perceptions of reality.
