Day Of The Dead Festival

It’s back! Our much loved Mexican Day Of The Dead themed festival for all ages returns this year on Sunday 3 November with lots of your favourite art and craft activities. Honour lost loved ones with a decorated shrine or sugar skull, print a tote bag with skull and flower designs, cut colourful papel picado hanging banners, decorate a skull mask, make Day Of The Dead inspired jewellery, enter the drawing competition, and get your face painted by Laura from Like A Magpie Face Painting!

Just drop in and find spaces at our activity tables between 11am and 4pm. Face painting is available between 1pm and 4pm.

There’s free entry, and some of the activities are free, with others at the following prices:
Make Memorial Tags to add to our shrine: free
Drawing Competition: free
Make Glass Jar Shrines to add to our display: free / £1 to take home
Cut Papel Picado Banners: £2
Decorate A Sugar Skull: £3
Decorate A Skull Mask: £3
Make Day Of The Dead Jewellery: £3
Face Painting: £3-£5 depending on the design you choose
Print A Tote Bag: £8

It all takes place at INTRA, 337-341 High Street, Rochester ME1 1DA Map
Sunday 3 November from 11am to 4pm
No need to book. We’ll be waiting for you with heaps of art and craft supplies and a shrine to fill with tributes.
